Take Time

We're about to commence the beginning of the holiday season with all its glitz and glamour, food, family and fun. What a great time of year it is. One of giving and receiving, sharing and connecting with friends and family, and those who are in the throes of dealing with the economic turmoil. If you find yourself with less this year, remember there is always someone with less than you. We can always find something to be grateful for. And can keep a flame burning in the heart that it is a great time to be alive.

Take time for yourself in the busy day. Have a cup of tea or a mochaccino, spend ten minutes looking at local art, read a few pages of the latest book you've discovered, call a friend. These are ways to feed the spirit, as we're feeding the body with all the holiday goodies. Take time to light the glint in your eye, the glow in your soul, the sweet delight in a child's laugh or an elder's memory. Time is as precious as any gem and cannot be stolen, but it can be wasted. Claim your Time, now more than ever.
